Ahem! Hello there, it's me, your long lost photoggin' mommy blogger. Remember me??
Yeah, I totally fell off the face of the Earth there for the last two months, huh? Lame.
But! I'm back now, and I'd like to get you all caught up on all things BDP. Here we go!
So, where the heck have you been??
I'd love to say I've been living some glamorous adventure that would make for a really interesting read. But alas, mine is a tale all too familiar to many of you mommas out there. I've been a coffee-drinking zombie, caught in a vicious cycle of diaper changes, daredevil-toddler rescues, and (when I'm lucky) changing into spitup-free clothes before Daniel comes home from work.
It's my life, and I wouldn't change a thing! (Though I could be tempted by a few nights of uninterrupted sleep...) But it surely hasn't left much time for cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene... much less clients, editing, and blogging.
I'm overwhelmed by the number of you who have continued to follow my journey, despite days and weeks of silence and inactivity. You've continued to extend your support and encouragement, and I value every second you take out of your busy days to do so!
Aw schucks, we're blushing! So, will we be seeing more of you now??
YES! Though, between the addition of Everett, and my newly-nap-defying toddler, my business plans have been adjusted to fit around my changing family responsibilities.
Here's what's in store for the next few months:
- Clients: it's important to me that I offer the same quick turnaround and high-quality work, which requires that I limit the number of sessions to 1 a weekend. Fall fills up fast, so if you want to secure a spot let's get it on the books!
- If there's continued interest, I'd like to resume Fashion Friday and Mentor Mondays. I'm open to new blog series ideas, too, if you have them. Please let me know in the comments below what you'd like to see more of from the BDP blog!
- In addition to my usual family and child portraiture, I've got a few weddings, and some exciting travel planned this Fall! Can't wait to share those with you as well.
You all are awesome. Thank you for the space you've given me to step back and truly appreciate the remarkable transformation that has been my son's first few months of life. I think this calls for a mini photo-montage, don't you??
